About Me

I am a qualified Acupuncturist registered with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). I completed my acupuncture training at the Northern College of Acupuncture, York in 2004 and have run a private practice since graduating.
I was the Course Leader and Senior Lecturer for the BSc (Hons) Acupuncture course at Leeds Beckett University from 2008-2014 where I worked closely with the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board to achieve professional accreditation for the course.
As part of the role of Course Leader, I managed a teaching team of four BAcC registered acupuncturists as well as providing the overall direction for the course. I also delivered teaching across all levels of the course and was also a clinical supervisor in the acupuncture teaching clinic.
I have run CPD courses in acupuncture point location and needling skills for Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors. I have been a specialist acupuncture volunteer at the Robert Ogden Macmillan Cancer, St James’ Hospital, Leeds since 2016 where I offer acupuncture treatment to cancer patients and their carers.
